The water boiler that served Grenfell Tower and surrounding properties was located under the tower, and was completely destroyed by the fire.

Hot water is expected to be restored Wednesday 5th July 2017. In the meantime, if you’ve been affected, we can offer hotel accommodation until it is fixed. Please speak to staff at The Curve Assistance Centre to find out more.

Residents are free to use the shower facilities at Virgin Active Notting Hill and Phoenix Fitness Centre (Janet Adegoke swimming pool).

Thames Water has cancelled any outstanding debts for Grenfell Tower residents and will refund accounts where charges have been paid in advance. Thames Water will also waive charges for those evacuated from neighbouring buildings.

Gas and electricity

If you were a Grenfell Tower resident, the energy companies will cancel any debts for bills, and prepayment and credit balances will be protected. You will not be charged for energy for the period after the fire, Direct Debit payments will be put on hold and you will not be put on a more expensive tariff if you’ve moved home. This package is being offered by Utilita, E.ON, SSE, Ovo, the Utility Warehouse, Flow Energy, Ecotricity, npower, British Gas, Robin Hood and EDF Energy. If you’re not sure who your supplier is you can call 0800 029 4285 for electricity or 0870 608 1524 for gas.

Rubbish collection

If you have rubbish or debris from the fire at your property, please contact the council on 020 7361 3001 and they will arrange for it to be collected.
